BSL Go! students’ trip to Stuubington Deaf club

Ben, Harry and Jenna presenting in BSL for their Duke of Edinburgh Awards

On Monday these three students introduced the programme of entertainment at Deaf club in full BSL. They were confident and signed so clearly. This was a nerve-wracking task for them all, but they have beaten their nerves to produce some very beautiful signing, even earning a huge round of applause from the audience.

The three were introducing children from Anne Dale, Hammond and Home Educated beginners groups, who have just completed their beginners courses.

The children were presented with their certificates by a member of the committee, Sarah, before performing a faultless rendition of “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman in BSL.

Well done to all involved – great job!
